Checking in takes seconds. Search for a salon near you, tap Check In, enter your name and phone number, and you're on the list. That's it—no login, email, or profile to create. Once you've checked in, watch your estimated wait time count down so you know exactly when to head over.

The app shows wait times based on current salon conditions and updates them in real time. You'll see what position you're in on the waitlist and can plan your arrival accordingly. If you'd rather receive a text alert, sign up for ReadyNext® notifications and get notified when your wait time drops to 15 minutes—your signal to head to the salon.

Save your favorite location in the app for even faster check-ins next time. Whether you're running errands, at work, or across town, you can check in from your phone without stepping foot in the salon. The app works on any device with internet—smartphone, tablet, or computer—so you can check in from wherever is most convenient.

Online Check-in covers all Great Clips services except perms and formal updos, which typically require an appointment. Check-in is available during salon hours, starting five minutes after opening (giving walk-ins a chance first) and closing 30 minutes before the salon shuts down. If you forget your phone, you can always check in online at the salon's website using any internet-connected device, or walk in and add your name the traditional way.

If you're running late, don't stress—your name stays on the list for a short period. And if your plans change, you can cancel your check-in anytime by tapping the cancel button on the home screen.
